Awards & Certifications
Certified Management Systems
On a regular task, TUV Rheinland/LGA InterCert reviews and certifies Quality Management System according to ISO 9001, Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001 and Energy Management System according to ISO 50001.
The ISO 9001 norm establishes the standards for a Quality Management System in order to satisfy the client’s requirements and ensure the product’s quality. The ISO 14001 norm for Environmental Management System helps improve a company’s environmental performance. Companies can continuously improve their energy efficiency with the Energy Management Norm ISO 50001. All three norms are globally recognized standards.
Golden M (RAL Quality Seal)
The DGM Deutsche Gütegemeinschaft Möbel – (German Furniture Quality Seal) have tested our German suppliers in accordance with RAL-GZ 430. Following this test, Our German suppliers were awarded the RAL Quality Seal, the “Golden M".
GS Quality Seal
The GS (Furniture Quality Testing Institute) of TÜV Rheinland has subjected the ranges of this collection to safety inspections. As a result of this inspection, all of our suppliers were awarded the GS seal certifying that the requirements with regards to operating convenience, load capacity, material consistency and safety have been met in full.
DGM Climate Agreement
One of our German suppliers was amongst the companies to join “The Climate Agreement for the Furniture Industry" when the DGM – Deutsche Gütegemeinschaft Möbel (German Furniture Quality Control Association) established it. This action underscores yet again our supplier’s sense of responsibility towards the environment and the climate objectives of the German government as well as those of the United Nations. The DGM climate agreement is based on the calculation of a company’s CO2 footprint. This footprint is continually analyzed in cooperation with an environmental protection consultant.
Blauer Engel
This mark of the German Federal Ministry of the Environment promotes the values of environmental and health protection as well as that of consumer protection. The mark distinguishes products and services, which are of particular benefits to the environment, when viewed holistically and, at the same time, meet high standards of service ability, health, and occupational protection.
PEFC
The company is certified in accordance with PEFC. This certification permits our suppliers to use wood for kitchen production that comes from sustainably managed forests and other managed sources. PEFC – Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes.
Emission Class DGM
The furniture in our collection was awarded the emissions label of the Deutsche Gütegemeinschaft Möbel e.v (German Furniture Quality Control Association) with the highest emissions class of A in accordance with the award requirements.
RKT Recycling Certificate
In Germany, our suppliers participate in the RKT (Recycling Kontor Transportverpackungen) return and recycling system. We thus ensure that our packaging is gathered, collected, and recycled in accordance with the packaging laws.
GOGREEN Certificate
The entire mail and package dispatch are taken care of by the CO2 neutral GOGREEN service of the German postal service and DHL. With this, our suppliers offset the CO2 emissions created during transport. The offset is certified through an independent certification company (Societé Général de Surveillance, SGS) according to ISO 14064.
